Why does it take so long to get sponsors?" Chris, from Montana
Chris, in today's corporate world most potential sponsors are looking
for what they perceive as a "major benefit to their involvement",
most don't care about the sport, its driver, crew, fans etc. They
are looking for double back in exposure for what they spend…
It is too bad that most corporations cannot see the potential with
up and coming teams! Kevin

Stan, I say whatever! They man has it all right? I went after COORS
and they shot us down COLD! "The rich get richer…. The
poor stay in the sportsman ranks!" If I ever wanted Dixon/Snake
to win, it will be now against that team! My concern is there are
other teams out there that deserved it more than they did! Kevin

I DON'T! I do feel that it is overrated as a form of motorsports!
All those who sponsor those cars are losing in my opinion! People
get dizzy watching them cars go in circles! I do respect the drivers
though as it must be tough! Kevin

The money will always follow the fan base. The only time I see that
not happening is when you attract a former racer who has limited
funds but wants his Companies name on a car and wishes to be a hero
a few times a year...other than this it's big buck sponsors and
what will you give me for my investment? Yes, it's cold but what
can you do but keep turning over rocks? Nitro is at present #1."

Mike, We don't…. This is why we are not out there as of yet!
I cannot run on my own dime anymore! It sucks but that is what has
to happen! Our deals are going as planned…maybe a little slower
than expected, but they are looking good so far! Kevin

see that a lot of racers are way over rated in all forms of motor
sports! How come? I mean they are not friendly at all! I have taken
my 2 (9 and 12) children to different venues from Cart to NHRA and
everything in between, the only one they remember is your team in
Seattle! I know I bore you with my e-mails all the time but my kids
love you and I want the world to know just how you are and what
you mean to us! I WANT THIS E-MAIL posted on at the hit! I know
your humble but it is time for people to hear the truth":

you took to spend with my 2 boys! I saw that you were in discussion
with someone who looked very important, you excused yourself from
that man to show us around your car, now I know you said that it
was OK that you wanted to show the boys the car, but I can't stop
thinking that we messed up a chance for a sponsorship for you? I
hope that this is not true… I talked to one of your crew guys
and he told me who you were talking to...I feel real bad…You
have become our favorite driver and team in all of motor sports!"

as I have stated to you and the boys…YOU and all of my fans
are #1 to me and my team! You did nothing wrong at all! I feel that
the sponsor deals will wait…. my fans mean the world to me!
Always have…always will be! Tell Kenny and Billy hello from
da Joker! And they better keep their noses clean or I will kick
their butts! As per some of your past e-mails have indicated…your
concerns about us not racing, I am doing what I can to get sponsorship!
Companies want a pretty face! Maybe a Blind CEO will call me? Yes
we have as much (if not more) to offer but if the corporate world
doesn't see that it is a lost cause! Kathy as always I love hearing
from you and those boys of yours! THANKYOU for standing behind us!

Well, Racing is our priority! When we sign the right sponsor I am
sure we will get into all the promotional stuff like Die cast, hats,
Shirts etc. I would love to have the die cast cars for my fans…..Kevin

Bob, It feels like we are getting screwed…..I don't have an
answer for why some teams have all the backing and we have little
to none! All I can say is the corporate world had better wake up…
as they are loosing a lot of consumers, Hell some of the pro's have
enough money to have 2-3 teams…To me that is excessive to the
max! I won't buy from companies like that, as if I do, I am fueling
their teams…. Kevin
